AC motor - maintenance

First, start before the preparation and inspection

1, check the electric and start the equipment ground is reliable and complete, wiring is correct and good.

2, check the motor nameplate shown voltage, frequency and power supply voltage, frequency is consistent.

3, the new installation or long-term suspension of the motor should be checked before starting the relative phase of the winding, the relative insulation resistance. Insulated group should be greater than 0.5 megohm, if below this value, the winding must be dried.

4, the winding rotor should check the collector ring on the brush device is able to work properly, brush pressure is in line with the requirements.

5, check whether the motor rotation is flexible, sliding oil within the bearing to achieve the required oil level.

6. Check that the rated current of the fuse used by the motor meets the requirements.

7, check the motor tightening bolts and bolts are tightened.

After all the above checks are met, the motor can be started. After the motor starts, no load for about 30 minutes, pay attention to observe whether the motor abnormal phenomenon, such as noise, vibration, fever and other abnormal circumstances, should take measures to be eliminated before the operation can be put into operation.

When starting the winding motor, connect the starting rheostat to the rotor circuit. For a motor with a brush lifting mechanism, the brush should be lowered and the short-circuiting device should be disconnected to close the stator circuit switch and pull the rheostat. When the motor close to the rated speed, lift the brush, close the short circuit device, the motor started.

Second, the maintenance of the line

1, the motor should always be kept clean, do not allow debris into the motor inside; air inlet and outlet must remain open.

2, with the instrument to monitor the power supply voltage, frequency and motor load current. Power supply voltage, frequency to meet the motor nameplate data, the motor load current shall not exceed the specified value on the nameplate, or to identify the cause, take measures to prevent the adverse situation can continue to run.

3, take the necessary means to detect the temperature rise of various parts of the motor.

4, for the rotor-type rotor motor, should always pay attention to the brush and the collector ring between the contact pressure, wear and spark conditions. When the motor stops, disconnect the switch in the stator circuit, then pull the brush lift mechanism to the starting position and disconnect the short circuit.

5, the motor running after the regular maintenance, the general sub-small repair, overhaul two. Small repair is a general maintenance, the start of the motor and the overall equipment does not make a large demolition, about once a quarter, overhaul all the transmission and motor all parts are removed, and the demolition of the parts for a comprehensive inspection and cleaning, Generally once a year.
